Hi there I have an 02 1.8 es 3dr and was wondering if any1 could help me? I am interested in fitting a lift kit, what's the biggest I can go have heard 2 inches? Also what's the best kit to fit? And also once I have fitted a lift kit what are the biggest tyres I can fit without effecting road performance to badly? Any help with these questions would be a great help.

very sorry about the starting 2 thread was using my iphone to browse and it wasnt coming up with 1st thread. ok well i have the standard 5 spoke es alloys and am guessing by looking at them they are either 15 or 16 inch? so can any1 give me a direct size tyre i can fit so i can start hunting down some tyres please.

I've copied the following over from a post I made on another thread by someone asking a similar question. Hope it helps.

My 2003 Td4 has 215/65x16 fitted as standard.


The closest 15" tyre to this is the 215/70x15 which has a 0.56% (smaller) difference in overall diameter to mine.

Next is the 195/80x15 which has a 1.03% (larger) difference.

A 215/75x16 comes in at 2.5% (larger)
