***Please Help*** ABS, T/C and downhill descent lights on disco td5
Hello guys,

im having a problems with my 99 Disco TD5, i was driving down a normal road and my ABS, traction control AND downhill descent warning lights all came on at the same time. i think it must be a problem with the ABS as i think all these devices work from the ABS. is this correct??? i have checked all the fuses, and relays. had a look underneath but dont really know what im looking for on these things. i have also been told that low brake pads could cause these lights to illuminate, but im not sure. they look ok to me. if anybody knows or has had this happen to them i would be very gratfull for advice and indstuctions. the disco is still covered by warrenty, but i dont want to take it back to the garage if its something simple.

thanks in advance guys

Taff

The only thing you can do is to take it back, and have it diagnosed via Testbook or similar. There are loads of faults that will put the lights on.

cheers for the advice, i should have done a search before posting this but i was panicking a bit, lol.

juat been out under the disco checking everything i can think of, no results yet so im giving the garage i bought it from a call first thing because its still under warrenty. like you say, it could be any number of things causing it and i cant check sensors ect with my tools.

thanks very much

I had this. ABS sensor on rear wheel. You'll need someone with a diagnostic reader to read the fault and rest the code. If it re-appears you'll need a new hub assembly.
