Piston ring help

Hello, I’m currently rebuilding my landys 2 1/4 petrol engine for the first time and I’m having a bit of confusion with the piston rings. The pistons are oversized by 0.30 so I have bought a set of oversized piston rings. However the oil control ring on the new set doesn’t have a spring and looks very different from the original. The seller I bought from described them as suitable for series II and III 2 1/4 engines. They are AE/cofap rings. I’ve attached pictures showing the seller’s description and what the rings look like.

If anyone has any information about this I would really appreciate it.

They look fine, modern oil scrapers don’t necessarily have a spring ring

For engine internals i would be wary of online ebay purchases,
I would suggest putting those down to experience and buy from turners or another respected supplier with a u.k based shop and helpful staff,

I went for these rings because I thought they would be good quality being new old stock. I found it really difficult to find oversized 0.30 rings even on turner engineering website. They only seem to have standard size. Appreciate the advice, I might get in touch with TE.
