Richard , do you have reversing lights like these,

<http://www.zen79997.zen.co.uk/percy/painted/imagepages/image8.html>

They seem to feature on alot of landy products.

I'm just fitting the Reverse light on Morph, considered a fog light but
thats probably an overkill (legality aside ;-) )

sorted the switch on the gearbox, no shims required. Nice and easy one that
:)

If he does have them and answers in time, i am probably popping up to
him tommorrow morning to get myself some landy bits - so i can pick up
a light and bring it back marginally closer to home for you if you
like? (you can then help yourself too it out of the back of the truck
or something)

Fingers crossed then! Ta!

I've put the switch in today, went exactly as per the piccy.. just a plain
bolt in there previously. Went in a treat no need for any shimms. I already
had some 7 core trailer wire running from the dashboard to the engine bay, 1
wire has been used for the temp sensor. The remainder were forseen for the
lpg switch .. I've run 5 core front to back now, just need some P clips to
fasten it up near the rear arch.

Plan is to have 2 wires for the reverse light, two for the rear view camera
and one spare switched earth to allow the reverse lights to be switched on
as worklights from the dash. Just need to tap in to an appropriate 12v at
the dash now.

Did visit thismorning (stayed in bucknall so it was local!) but
Richard wasnt there. I really need to get there ASAP now as I have
atleast 2 landy loads of garden cuttings ready to go to the tip and
the landy has crappy brakes and doors that have no latches!

I will be trying to get there in the week sometime.

thought
scene 1.....image of you shooting down to the tip at 40 mph, screaming in
the front gate
unable to stop due to poor brakes, yanking the steering violently to avoid a
skip and the door
with the dodgy latch flying open, ejecting the grass in the process.
On straightening the wheel you find yourself in the direction of the out
gate
and the dodgy door slams shut....hmm, lucky one there
scene 2.... image of you rolling up to the gate, slyly checking no-one is
looking and you
jumping out of the landy and letting it career into the waste pile. Problems
solved!!!
just need to find a lift home now....
scene 3.... anyone got a wheelbarrow i can borrow please......

scene rehersal....

<http://www.zen79997.zen.co.uk/pictures/oswestry/imagepages/image12.html>

Tim goes back to see where Tom is in the middle of a greenlane trip, turns
out as we negotiated the rough track to the top of a hill the dodgie catch
gave way and the contents of the back of Toms Series II landed on the track
in a manouver that Hercules pilots would be proud of.

Note to self ....fix rear door latch on IIa before putting back on the road.

Yeah caught me out once like that... I always ring now, I guess the local
deliveries have to be done some time.

If I go up tomorrow will ring you, you can always place your order by phone
& pay and I'll collect, you can pick up from here then if it 'elps. It may
make it easier for me by tricking my brain in to thinking I've bought loads
and thus save me having to buy loads IYSWIM because thats situation normal
;-)
