You all may have noticed that there appears to be a culture developing in pimping Range Rovers, what with big wheels, overfinch branding, under bonnet toys. With this in mind I've decided to cash in on this trend and sell my own P38 but in a 'starter kit' format.

Why a starter kit you might ask, well by starting the pimping process myself I can command a higher price. This is what I've done so far.

I ordered some 3d plastic lettering from the Internet that said 'Revere' and stuck them on the back and front. Took a photo of the side air vents on a Range Rover Sports, printed them and covered them in clear vinyl and mounted them using spray mount adhesive.

I then varnished the insides of the windows using Ronseal 'Ultra Tough Satincoat' varnish stained with a hint of Parker Pen ink to produce the tinted window effect.

Next I added a spoiler by getting my old snowboard out of the attic I mounted it on the back end of the roof using 8" coach bolts and two old bean tins (painted black), it looks wicked.

And with the remainder of my black paint I painted my alloys, just to add to the 'sleek' look.

It was at this point I realised something was missing and that was a sunroof. So I rummaged around in the shed and I found the 'Pièce de résistance' an old velux window. So using my trusty can opener I cut out the hole and fitted the window.

I would have done some before and after pictures, but my digital camera said its memory was full, and I couldn't find a hole to empty it. I tried shaking it but nothing came out so this didn't work either.

So once I've bought a new camera I'm going to take some pictures and advertise it on auto-trader. I hope to make a hefty profit on this, I'll keep you all posted.

Woogoo your a bloody nutter. You will get on famously with others nutters like J and Claw pity i can't make it.

Woogoo I'm disappointed! No old blue fairy lights to act as pseudo LED running lights? Disabled suspension to ride on the bumpstops to give it the lowrider look? Bald tyres so it's running on slicks? The list goes on........

 Gawd that's brilliant, I'm off the the workshop.

i have just finished painting my axel, bright red looks sooooo coooool, guy pulled next to me a traffic lights and said oy you cock what you have done to the range rover, you should be in jail. told him feckoff i only just got out. god i hate tits on the road..

i have a cunning plan to jack the back up, by a foot so people can see what a cool dude i am. every body wiil want a range like mine sooon you wait and see..

**** never thought of doing that. i going to asy farther in law for the engine out of his antar. 20 liter petrol 1 mile to gallon, may have to rethink the front end a bit..

Some nice touches there. If you keep taking the tablets everything will be all right in the end.

Anyone else remember the Cigar advert with the Carlos Fandango wide wheels?

Wonder if anything has actually changed in the last 35 years??

Have a look - blast from the past!

woogoo i think you should a patent on your ideas before everyone tries them.....

No need to he will just send the lads in to sort it. The sight of Claw in his gimp suit and J with his crowbar is enough to put anybody off.

Humph! Not as good as my cunning plan to loctite together two BMW straight sixes in to a V12!

Anyone can do a V12, stickem end to end to make a straight 12 - now there'd be an engine!!

You can then do a nose extension to make it like a flat nose Porsche 911 from the 80's:p

omg not claw in his gimp suit

Afraid so. I take no part initially of course, i only service and operate the thumb screws and rack after any miscreants have been subdued by the heavy gang. And if you ever saw those two they are REALLY heavy. J usually interrogates them in scouse so they can't understand the questions, it gives him an excuse to pour on the pain. Claw just stands there looking menacing. A six foot plus bloke in a gimp suit frightens the **** out of me anyway.
