You all may have noticed that there appears to be a culture developing in pimping Range Rovers, what with big wheels, overfinch branding, under bonnet toys. With this in mind I've decided to cash in on this trend and sell my own P38 but in a 'starter kit' format.
Why a starter kit you might ask, well by starting the pimping process myself I can command a higher price. This is what I've done so far.
I ordered some 3d plastic lettering from the Internet that said 'Revere' and stuck them on the back and front. Took a photo of the side air vents on a Range Rover Sports, printed them and covered them in clear vinyl and mounted them using spray mount adhesive.
I then varnished the insides of the windows using Ronseal 'Ultra Tough Satincoat' varnish stained with a hint of Parker Pen ink to produce the tinted window effect.
Next I added a spoiler by getting my old snowboard out of the attic I mounted it on the back end of the roof using 8" coach bolts and two old bean tins (painted black), it looks wicked.
And with the remainder of my black paint I painted my alloys, just to add to the 'sleek' look.
It was at this point I realised something was missing and that was a sunroof. So I rummaged around in the shed and I found the 'Pièce de résistance' an old velux window. So using my trusty can opener I cut out the hole and fitted the window.
I would have done some before and after pictures, but my digital camera said its memory was full, and I couldn't find a hole to empty it. I tried shaking it but nothing came out so this didn't work either.
So once I've bought a new camera I'm going to take some pictures and advertise it on auto-trader. I hope to make a hefty profit on this, I'll keep you all posted.
