hello advise please

I m looking to by a pierburg maf to go with my ronbox I ve seen 1 for sale with part number 7.22684.07.0 (this is on the box)

so I did a little research and that part number is for a Mercedes maf according to (doctor car parts)

question is is it the same is it compatable with freelander td4 2002

any help or advise greatly appreciated before I take the plunge

Why do you need a new MAF?
Did you try to clean it?
in 99% of all cases dirt inside the MAF causes malfunctioning.
Take the MAF part out of the system (2screws on top of the system)
Yes they are strange types, but with one of your cutting tools it should be possible to get them out. And replace them for philips screws.
Then put the bottom part, where the air flows through, in some alcohol or thinner (for paint) and leave it there for half a hour.
You can also use cotton wool pins (ear cleaner) sip into the thinner and clean the surface.
Re-assemble the MAF into the tube.
I do this once a year
Same as I clean the crankcase breather filter on top of the engine (Td4)

need pierburgh maf to work with synergy2a ronbox but will give it a clean just to see if it makes any difference
