Highlights of the day include going across ground that looked solid and getting stuck up to the axles.
Rescuers coming and them getting stuck.
In total 6 people and a tratter getting stuck. So we got out of it by stuck people winching out other stuck people. Great fun.
Number two was wading, lots of wading. I loved that.
Going through the forest, great fun in a standard 110!
The look on my parents face when they saw the interior when I got home!
By the way, didn't see you there spirite.

sorry lil landy i didnt make it we decided to go to the blackhills instead because its only £10 to play and located on the outskirts of chesterfield

'cos a strop has no natural give to it, so puts a big 'shock-loading' strain on the vehicles, their components and their occupants.
Far better to use a towrope for a vehicle recovering another vehicle. Use Strops fopr anchor points for winches (hand or driven) or as tree savers, or if it's all there is, but don't regularly use one for vehicle on vehicle action ...

Yea Strops are cheap and for winching but Rope is IMO far superior for towing. Looks like you all had fun tho and nobody can moan about that. Nice pics Jai
