Well after waitin three weeks for the registration change over, I finally picked the Discovery up today and I'm pretty happy with it, all things considered.

Ok, it's a '94 300tdi with a manual box, it has the associated scabs and traits of a 15 year Disco but it's a clean honest old bus from a Guy who's had it for 5 years and before that it was owned by his Dad. 146k on the odo but it's got plenty of history (the last full service being at 141k) the Guy has even kept every tax disc from new, reminders, MOTs, bills and of course the manuals.

Mot'd for a year, taxed til the end of '09 and a nearly new set of BF Goodrich 235 / 70 R16 all round...............can't be bad.

Next stop, EGR blanked.

Defo lose the chrome it's nasty. Them steps'll catch all the mud and help to rot yer sills away faster than yer can get yer chamois on em too.

looks nice apart from the bullbar , if you are keeping the bar it needs some bloodstains,a dead dog , a walking stick and a rucksack hanging off it just to keep the anti 4x4 lot on their toes ! LOL

Will a brain stained bobble hat do ??

Had a run out today with the Discovery over the old Roman road between Brightgate and Ible, hardly extreme but very enjoyable.
