I have a swb pick up 1984.

I have bought a roof. once i have the sides and tail gate, how much work is it to convert to a non pick up model? And vice versa? Is it something that can be done easily in an hour or two or does it need a specialist garage to do?

any tips

quite easy ,you need new seals to go between side panels and windscreen ,and 2 x mounting studs for rear corners as hold truck cab

why do none of my instruction manuals detail how to do this? can you give me the basic steps to remove the cab. then i fit the roof, sides and back together and lift it on. Secure with bolts. then fit the seats. any more tips? electrics, approximate costs?

We took the roof off my 110 at Bristol and West show In order to change the body cappings. there is a bolt in each corner of the side panels, and a bracket half way down the sides and a row of m6 (10mm) bolts where it joins the windscreen. Oh and the seatbelt's need unbolting at the top mounting.

i went from a hard top to truck cab, was so easy to do all nut and bolts once to start it will come to you whats next
