Hi ive just bought a silver Discovery 2 on a 2003 and quite fancy painting the front grill body colour but a bit unsure what it would look like..

Has anyone painted there front grill body colour they could share a pic with me on at all...

There is a Disco2 on Google images in blenheim silver with the grille colour coded.

i was thinking it might look a bit like the new model discovery ?? mines the 2003 facelift TD5 with the twin round lights up fron similar to the 2005 onward type ish..

I think grille would look naff, but maybe front bumber centre section and plastic arches would look good. IMO......I have a java black 2002 facelift and i'm colourcoding arches,front bumper centre and rear 1/4 corner bumper corner trims.

Jock, they are just a standard grille that has been drilled,countersunk and then painted....check his advert,he give you a trade in value for your old grille.

I had mine done as the chap had some paint left over from doing the bumper end caps, and the grill had a scratch in it.

I think its alright !.

I stacked my 300 and when repairing it the garage had spare paint and did the grill blue to match.

Looked awesome imo.

they look ok!
but it's a lot of money when you have fit it and don't like it

i think i would leave alone,
get an A bar instead, 2 lights, that look better!!
