I'm working on a dash-top box for my D2Td5, to hold such things as switches, USB sockets, and a two-way radio mounting, to be fixed in place over the centre console on the dashboard, fixing through the dash somehow. While there are a couple of commercial offerings available (Mud Stuff and Raptor), I want to build one of these things myself. The obvious approach, without drilling holes in it, seems to be to fix it in place using the vent holes behind the coin tray, but without taking a few hours to disassemble and reassemble the darn thing, I have no way of knowing what's under there. Has anyone got photos or drawings of the disassembled dash panelling that they can let me have, or post on here, please?
