Hi Guys. How come every time you buy a service kit there is always a petrol filter, the question I have is where is the fillter and is it easy to change. I've have 2 of these but never done a change because I was told it was inside the tank, is this true. Thanks.

It would help if you specified the year and model of vehicle that you have.

But I suspect the filter is inside the tank, but it probably isn't a big job to change, just remove the fuel pump, and change the filter on the pick up.
Could be wrong, but one of the Rangie boys and girls should be along later, they are probably all having their afternoon naps at the moment.

Hi Guys, great if it is as I have 3 of them and did not want to do the tank bit. LOL. So if it is next to the air tank magic,as she is due a service before I head abroad.

How do you know if yours is a Thor V8??.

1999-2002 was the Thor

and it has the banana manifold.

If the rocker cover is squareish and says V8 then its a GEMS
If the top of the engine is all banana pipes then its a THOR
Might not be called rocker cover these days may be a plenum chamber
