perm live or bad earth??

right back onto my light stalks, replaced em today, even when the stalk is switched off i have headlights untill i pull the fuses out??????????????????????????????????????????????????
also when i hit the steering column to crack the wheel off i foobard the threath and the steering colomn has gon about an inch inwards???? when i get a replacement nut how can i get ti back out???

i suspect yer got a collaspable collum. in that its made so it colaspsessss rather than spear you in the event of an accident. in which case its fooked , get a new one.

knackered switch? wrong switch?
some vehicles have two , or more, different spec light switches. while they look the same and will fit they are wired up differently.

hmm, will have to check part numbers, cheers slob, will write back soon. oh while am here i was looking through RAVE att he steering column, although its 300tdi issue there seems to be a bit on the column that appears as if it could be reset back the normal height/length, is the column the same for the 200tdi?
