PEL000040

Hello All
Could Someone Piont me in the right direction
I have a freelander 1 2005 with upgrade kit PCH001190 all ready on it i want to change this for a new kit but have read in the advertisment that i will need backing plate PEL000040 but i think this is what you want if you are changeing from old system with themrostat at back of engine to new system which is at the front left hand side
could some one let me no as i plan to do this on thursday

If you already have the PCH001190 kit, why do you want to change it?
The blanking plate is only a thermostat without the valve portion fitted. The valve portion can be removed from an old thermostat if needed. I would think that you'll already have the blank in situ anyway, as a 2005 will be factory fitted with PCH001190 so the point becomes irrelevant

The reason for change is that I won't to change because I don't no if it has been changed before as only have brought the car recently
And the hoses look old and the thermostat is a black colour not white colour as the new one looks
