There's a bit of weight but honestly my wife can lift it off.but if there too light they can be roped if to easy.

The Safe T Pedal arrived today. It's canny heavy, but that's unavoidable if you want something resilient. It looks secure and prevents access to the pedal levers, so no sawing the pedals off. Put it straight on so the Mrs has to remove it in the morning. It'll be interesting to see how she gets on. 
Wish I'd weighed it first, but I'll weigh it at the weekend.

Ha ha, could be an issue.
Exactly. On the face of it sounds silly, but in reality it's a big issue. I've told the Mrs to lift it up on to the centre seat, get in and then push it across to the passenger seat and leave it there. If she tries to lift it down to the passenger footwell, she'll probably put her back out. She has history there

Well, the Mrs summary of using the pedal lock 'it's a pain in the @rse'. It must be canny bad, cos the Mrs never uses bad language. Not to worry, she did go on to say that she would continue to use it. Time will tell, I suppose.

Absolutely, Grezzer. I think she'll be ok. I showed her this thread a little earlier and we've had a chat Her main worry is pinging her back, as it's gone a few times before and it's not that resilient. If she's just lifting it up and down on to the centre seat, She thinks she'll be ok.
