Guys, looking at beefing up security on the tratter. Now, I know there has been issues of late with pedal locks, but are any of them any good at all ? This will be in addition to other security stuff already in place, but it's only worth it if they're any good ! Clutch claw is out, I'm looking at the 'ardcase type of guard. Anyone got anything better ?

Cheers !

I like the look of these too, so like you will be interested to hear opinions of it. Usually , it goes something like 'I know someone who can get them off in in 29 seconds without waking up my Rottweiler!

Did a bit of googling last night abut the ardcase device and read a few comments saying that they cut through the pedals and drive it away using the stumps.
The X-eng one looks like it covers all of the pedals.

I've got the x eng one and it feels very solid, Feels bloody heavy too when in the box

I Have the Xeng one and its great
like the fact that I don't have to p*** about lifting the lock into place
it just simply folds back down and it becomes part of the floor

I have the Safe t pedal from shire fabs, it's a well made piece of kit.
They look canny and at a decent price. About how heavy is it, Grezzer? Just wondering cos the Mrs will be using it a lot. Can't find the weight on their website. Cheers.

That works like a good un,

Looks nice and neat, I see you have no matting / insulation under the pedal lock when ii is in the "driving " position, is that right?

Cheers
It is how I have mounted mine but I suppose it could be bolted straight through the rubber matting already in place but that would be less secure I think
