sounds good to me sam, prob wouldnt wild camp with you as derbyshire is on my doorstep so whatever time you planned id be able to get there keep me informed as im not always at the pc every night and dont want to miss out on a corker of a day out!
on a selfish note from me 1st wk of april is no good for me, in skeggy with the family

I think he's on about us going further afield Pete?

I'm guessing Wales or the Lakes as a possibility hence the camping option?

Yeah the idea is to take the Derbyshire crew out of Derbyshire

If its gonna happen on my watch there will be a few ground rules such as it you're not camping your not coming, not having any gay no-camping attitude, hey even Sally mentioned a tent to me the other day!

Will decide what's what for route etc and then decide about vehicle prep, I mean any vehicle can get dragged around all day but if we want to make progress there might have to be a cutoff.

ANYWAY it's all pipeline at the moment.

Would be nice to go before it gets too warm but I can't see me having time, got a big trip planned end of march I think so I'm probably out until then, maybe end of April?

Sam keep me up to speed fancy this I do !! Should be bobbed n raised by then !!

Just keep eyes peeled lads but yeah we'll do a tough run somewhere, very nice

Yes, Sally is going camping! Dont faint! But it is on serviced sites, in the Alps in July. We're going in the Disco, doing old Military trails and then chilling out on the Cote D'Azur. Going to take two weeks as that's all Sally can get off work. Tent buying and ferry booking the next jobs. Anyone else fancying going? Be a change from Skeggy, Pete lol.

If I could afford to come dave id be there like a shot! Maybe next year? Will have a few more mods on the disco by then and have a passport too lol!!!

Yeh if your goin further afield I dnt mind camping out then, nt much point for me in derbyshire, it would take me longer to set up than to drive to a location hehe

How's about Morocco next year Pete? Over the Atlas Mountains and onto the Sahara. You'll need 3 weeks off work though. Sal fancied that this year but could only get 2 weeks off work.

We are going to France and Spain in camper van towing bike for 3 weeks from end of July until 19th August cant wait!!!

hmmmm :scratching_chin:we`ll see, 3 weeks is a long time to try and get off in 1 go, plus there`s the cost involved it that sot of length of time, will have to see how the disco comes on this year too (could be a costly year yet with all the mods on my wish list! )

You got any destinations planned Steve ?? We're off for 3 weeks in April n 3 in aug live France with campa stay on aires de camping cars cost bugger all !! Lol wife says I'm tight !! Do let her look at all leaflets of posh sites then don't go on em ha

All we have booked so far is the ferry back from santander on the 19 August but the basic idea is ferry to France and drive/ride to Spain incorporating coast roads and mountains passes we will be leaving UK around 27 August

Morocco Tours

We're doing it in October with the above company. All in all, it's gonna be around 2.5-3k, based on one person in one vehicle.

Shouldn't be much more than that when basing it on two peeps, I'm hoping lol.
