Update, now have the second route - thanks to johnlad (has it been checked, is it all legit mate?).

i drove the route 3 weeks ago as part of a group from LRUK forum all was checked and legal then, cant see anything changing so soon,

You may want a re-think on your choice of campsite as the owner is a miserable get, his rules are no bbq's, no noise after 21.00, and basically no enjoying yourself which is a shame as 1 of the lanes is right outside his farm

Gonzo, you'll see it don't worry, no rush really though is there.

Thanks for the heads up on the camp site, didn't have any prob's when I was there but things change.

I'll get these bits sorted, any other problems / suggestions?

not worried but i prefer to check out routes i run on, only last week we were out when we ended up being stopped by horse riders and they wouldnt let us past until theyd spoken to the police.
so until i see the whole route for each day then im afraid im not going to commit to taking part at the end of the day im local to the peaks and im seen out there regular.
Im not trying to **** people off its just my own personal preference to know where im going and when and even more so because at the time of year your planning to go there will be a lot of local village well dressing fetes and country village fairs which these lanes skirt around so theres gonna be loads of horses and walkers which will also be using these routes and trust me there are plenty of people that dont take to kindly to 4x4 users around here.

O.k, printed the second route and compared it to the original. It'll be 50% ish the same as the previous day's, they're both in the southern half of the peak district and some look like they could be good fun.

Anyone got a suggestion for a good campsite near hathersage, hope or castleton?

I'll send the route out in due course, Only to people who are serious about coming though as We've all had the same "I'm not telling you where the lanes are, you'll have to do some work yourself", no offence to anyone and yes I admit both routes have somehow fallen in my lap this time but it does newbies good to learn to find legal lanes for themselves. Dont panic gonzo, you'll be included as will the others on the original list if they want to see it. P.m. your email addys guys and I'll send it as an attatchment.

Nah .. we took a P38 on road tyres down in '07 I think ... good lines and good spotting gets anything down .. ;)

BOLLOX!!!

Got pulled by vosa in the lorry today, I didn't have my paper tachographs with me so walked away with a wallet that's £200 lighter  fookin £200 notes just for forgetting 5 bits of paper!!

Sooo, think that might be me out of this one guys  I'll know for sure in the next couple of weeks but that's a big hole in the funds I was relying on. Go on without me if I cant though, would be a waste if you didn't.
