Hey all, Im a bit of a newbie to off roading and was looking for some pay and play sites locally to me (wellington, somerset) to go to and practice. I have been to offroad zone in newton abbott and had a great time, Just wondering if there was anything else about in Somerset or Devon.

Im sorry if this topic has come up before, but I thought I would start a fresh thread in case any new places had opened up.

Thanks alot.

Edgie- thanks for the hint mate, I'll check out sdorc, they do anything around the Tiverton area?

Jimbo- it's a defender 90, but it's also my daily drive so I can't really do anything too mental in it! It's got mud terrains at the moment and I'm adding protective mods to be on the safe side.

after a few laps of a pay and play place, I've decided a 2" lift and a winch are certainly going to be invested in! Its Exmoor off roading you lot do isn't it?

Ive looked on the facebook group, Looks like my truck has a few more mods to go yet before I start doing that!

There's a lot of stuff you can do without requiring extreme gear, there is a few guys that use road trucks for off roading with minimal kit, im running totally standard atm bar a light bar! I'm only going 2inch lift MTs , Winch. Nothing special, might put sliders on in the future.

What's your Facebook addy dude?

i agree with that !! you dont need all the gear i had a 300tdi disco and i could do most of the things mates could do in there trick trucks!!
when my 90's finished im up for some muddy play:D:D should be done by x mas

Sounds ace mate! Im trying to make the 90 as good as possible off road without modifying it to the extent I cant do RTV trials or am in a heavily modified class. I suppose its down to my lack of experience and confidence at the moment, But im slowly getting there!

Do you mean I only need extended arches when going extreme? I was getting them to stop my 265/75 16 mud terrains from clipping the rear plastic wheel arch!
