Driving directions from Chesterfield Town centre is as follows:

1. Head south on St Mary's Gate/B6543 toward Church Way
Continue to follow B6543
2. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Markham Rd/A619 heading to Bakewell/Buxton/A6/Matlock/A632
Continue to follow A619
Go through 2 roundabouts
3. Turn left onto Hallcliff Ln
4. Continue onto Syda Ln
The site is located on the right just before Clay Pit Lane.

is your Disco modified or standard as Holymoorside can be a bit hard for standard vehicles.......

thanks, ive got lift kit an big tyres fitted, prob few more mods fitted by then, iv been to hollymoorside before in my old sj its a good laf. joe

is it free to come down and have a nose around? never been off roading and doubt my freelander will be any good there.

whats this track like? i only have a standard disco would it survive? i got advised to try it and then go from there with my modifications.

free to spectate mate and got catering on site for a cuppa or bite to eat
personally i wouldn't try it with a standard truck.....
2" lift and at least some decent a/t tyres, plus recovery points are a must.
Come down and have a look and one of the marshalls will be happy to take you round mate

cheers. i keep looking around for some tyres missed out on a full set of brand new tyres on crap rims other day but wasnt sure how disco deal was going so didnt bother. kicking myself now. ill be there with a few others

Hi...I went along today to watch, my landy isn't modified and it was a bit swampy! Took lots of photos though....some below

I missed this one as my 90 wouldn't start!! Is it open every weekend? Or on certain dates?
