I have a range rover 2.5tds, was off road for a couple of years, got it working again, but have recently got a very strange problem. when i switch on the ignition the only light on the dash that comes up is the srs light. two aa men have been unable to sort the problem, but found that when i pressed in the fog light switch the lights on the dash came up and the engine started. when i let the switch out again, engine kept running but all dials went back to zero and didnt work. all plugs into the ecu have been cleaned, but problem is really baffling, hopefully someone has an idea of what is causing it, would appreciate any help.
