Passenger's Elec Window Jamming?

Hi

The passenger side elec window (on my '96 disco) has started jamming.

If I press the rocker switch the window tries to go down but all that happens is the front corner drops approx 5mm and the window jams. If I then press the switch to put it back 'up' the window closes as normal.

It is as if the rear part of the window guide mechanism has jammed - has anybody experienced this and how easy is it to fix?

Either the window support channel has snapped in half. or the teeth on the lifting arm have sheared off.

You'll need to take the door lining off to have a look. If you need to get the glass out the entire top half of the door has to be unbolted and removed.

Had the same problem on my 300tdi and found plastic bush on the window regulator was broken. Found new replacement on E-bay and did not take long to fit I followed the instruction on a previous thread on here.
