Passenger window.

Hello, I have a problem with the pas side electric window. I have changed the motor and complete window gear, the black box in the door and the window switch panel with all the switches. but still it says window not set. Reading the owners manual it says its in the safe mode as if someone has pushed on the window as it was going up. I tried the reset sequence but still no joy. I know the parts were ok as they worked in my scrapper before I swaped them over. I then fitted them to my good RR but the window still doesnt work. Any ideas please?

when you set the windows did you hold down the button for a few extra seconds after it had lowered fully/raised?

Actually I didnt. But all the other windows and sunroof did what they should but the pas window did nothing. All I got was the annoying low tone beep and the display said window not set. Any orher ideas please?

All the way down and hold the button for 5 seconds then immediatly all the way up and hold the button for 5 seconds. Listen for any sound of knocking that might indicate a worn window regulator.

Thanks for the advise but the pass window doesn't move at all. Just the bloody beep when I push the switch. All the other windows work ok. Do you think it could be something from the car? I tried the relays. Im thinking a broken wire somewhere.
