Passenger door not unlocking

Hi Everyone,

Having big issues with my 2011 FL2 passenger door not unlocking with central locking key or dashboard lock buttons. Can use the inside door handle to open it though (but a pain having to keep reaching across). Locks OK and can see the little black internal lever move a little but just not fully to unlock it.

Wife is 38weeks pregnant so want to get this sorted ASAP before labour day!

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably the lock actuator. It's a relatively common problem on most cars these days.

Thank you! Do you know if it’s something I could replace myself or require a mechanic?

A competent home mechanic should be able to replace a lock assembly in an hour or so.
