Hi, I've just bought a 2003 l322 and its a great car. There are a few bits that need doing on it and I'll provably be asking a few more questions in the coming months. But my first thing to fix is the passenger door lock. The door will only actually unlock about 1/3 tines when the test of the car is unlocked. I can see the door pin try and go uo when I unlock, but it just doesn't manage it some times. Anyone got any ideas? Is it a knackered pump or perhaps just something that needs some lubricant? Tempted to squeeze some wd40 down the pin to aee if that frees anything, but wondered if anyone had any other ideas?

Knackered pump? Do you think it's air powered?
Door card off and lubricate the mechanism would be my first step, the motor sounds OK if you can see the pin move.

If the door cards been off and not refitted properly it'll bind up the the pin. Lever off the small black surround that sits around the pin and see if it moves freely.

Tried levering off the black pin, it made a little difference, seemed to be more reliable, but still not 100% - I'm gonna take off teh door card and see if i can lubricate anything, but any how tos on replacing the actuator should i need to?
