Got a call out to recover this Passat that had gone down a bank, idiot driver was doing 70 in a car he didnt know how to handle and lost control. luckily he walked away fine and he didnt have his kid in the car.
I walked away with a car war wound shackle came flying through my rear window missing my head :( driver of the passat is paying for a new window though.

dont think the pics do it justice as it was pretty bad. took me in my disco and my mate in her jeep to pull it out was wedged in a tree lol

I had this happen with my Passat estate after someone decided it was a good idea to overtake on a blind bend ,either hit the prick head on or swerve and I decided to swerve amazingly this car started in this condition but would not drive due to ruined driveshaft's and suspension

all the crap that's in the back is as it was being used for a shed for a while , the only thing in there in the crash was a roll of big mig wire which destroyed the rear seat after coming from the boot

the other silver one in the backround was my replacement car in the middle of having an engine replacement

terrible - reminds me of my banger racing days..
after I had finished with bangers & stock car racing, I was in a bad road accident..sitting waiting to turn right and was hit by someone doing roughly 60/70 mph.... knocked me out, burnt my tackle with a cigarette, and at first could`nt get out, but eventually got 2 front doors open as I had a fare paying passenger in the other front seat..
saw the guy coming in the rear view mirror, had time to say to passenger _ hold on tight....the other driver never cared a toss, was a rep....took 2 days for the genuine whiplash injury to show itself.....
done all them speed crashes in racing - thought nothing of it - was a great laugh, but on the road............makes you think....

is it me or do you have a plastic bottle of **** in the 2nd photo ;)

yeah crashes on the road arnt fun I have had a few with one being a fiesta , will post pic in a sec

no its not a bottle of **** lol its brake fluid from bleeding brakes !

yeah the shell stood up quite well it was 50mph into the end of a stone bridge ( cause of crash unknown medical blackout btw )

I was lucky as I hit it directly on the chassis leg, it pushed the leg through the floor inside and ripped off all the suspention, the roof buckled so the doors would not open and then shut(after)

left me with 3 cracked ribs, concussion, whiplash, muscle damage to shoulder and stomach and various bloody bits and bruises

I used to have a scooter myself but I like the safety of a car in everyday life especially with the idiots I seem to encounter

you have the right gear mate , as long as you protect yourself in the best possible ways theres no different to what you ride

I have seen idiots wearing just T shirts or sometimes none at all and it just makes me think about them falling off the road and skidding on flesh and bone

you were lucky I was hit by a uninsured driver when I was in my small car they wiped my of to hospital ,and once there the x rayed me and thought I had broken my neck again luckily I had just a slight chip but it meant a few days in hospital , I did eventually trace him but the insurance did not want to know I had to claim through the none insurance bureau .

that causes huge problems , with mine I wouldent claim as my insurance is high cos of my age , I have never claimed

did you knock the **** out of him? I would have

I also had to put a claim in from I think the criminal injuries board years and years ago after a brick was thrown out off a lorry wheel into our roof/windscreen
back then I was 13-14 so was obv a passenger

Off topic but
Even with insurance it takes an age to get a result.
I got taken off my bike by a young farmer in a Isuzu pickup in September 2013 despite the gent being in court for dangerous driving I'M STILL WAITING for a settlement.
Oh and leather jeans ,jacket and boots and above all a good helmet meant I very nearly walked away just broke my tibula and knackered my cruciate ligaments.
