Clearone fault and another turns up.
I have a 2006 L322 4.4petrol RR

When selecting reverse the parking sensors have a continous tone indicating a fault with the system.

Any idea where the PDC module is located?

How do you test each sensor without shelling out cash to a dealer?

Not sure how to test them but maybe you can disconnect one sensor at a time to see which one is causing the fault

The front sensors module Is underneath the drivers footwell mounted in the dash just above where your pedals are. And the rear module is located in the rear right hand side boot cubby hole.

Hope this helps

there is only one module that works the front and rear sensors and its in the boot on the right hand side behind the fuse board, to test the sensors turn the ignition on but dont start the engine, press the pdc button then put your ear on each sensor in turn. working ones you will hear ticking, the one that is quite is the problem. most common fault is the wiring under the bumpers to the sensors and not the sensors themselfs.

Thanks for the advice, waiting for it to stop raining and will take a look, I think I read somewhere that the most common area for the wiring issue was near the bumpers so will take a look. Oh the joys of a RR!

Thanks for the recent advise, module found. Listened to the sensors and found a none clicking one on the rear. New part ordered from famous four for £40 all I got to do now is figure out how to get access to it!

Thanks

check the wiring before you open the new sensor had the same problem on mine was a broken wire second sensor in from right hand side
