Freelander 2 (LR2) Parking sensor & icarsoft

Hi, does anyone have experience of investigating parking sensor issues on a fl2 by use of the icarsoft i930 scanner tool? thanks

Not the i930 no.
I have used the IID BT by Gap Diagnostic. That will tell you exactly what sensor or any other part of the system has failed, straight to your smartphone.

Thanks for the reply. It looks ideal to do the job although it is a fairly expensive piece of kit for occasional use. I guess the cheaper units will not cover all the various systems.

No the cheaper hand held units don't cover everything. Most other units are also "finished" products. The IID is still actively being developed so more features as abilities are being added all the time. It's the best bit of diagnostic kit I've ever used, if only it worked on my FL1.

Bit sad answering my own question but someone might want to know.......The icarsoft unit does read the fault codes for parking system and pretty much all other systems and am fairly impressed so far.

To be honest the program menu list a majority of all land rover vehicles since around 2000. Will also read any ODB complaint vehicle general fault code - worked on my Focus
