can anybody help me with the glow plug problem on my series 3
the hairpin plugs have been replaced like for like problem is the resistor is glowing red hot but the plugs dont seem to be working
the wiring goes from the resistor wich is also new to the top thin thread of the first plug
then a larger ring under the china insulator to the small thread on the next and so on to the last plug wich goes to earth is this the correct wiring ?

the problem is theres a short at the plug end of the resistor coil ( bakerlite washer thingy is probably burnt out ) causing the coil to glow and let no power get to the plugs .................its a badass fire risk that one
