Pajero axle locker?

Has anyone on hear ever heard of or fiited a Pajero rear axle ( the one with the locker) to a disco?

is it possible?
what dimensional issues are there?

just that Ive been offered the back axle of a scrap Paj for pennies and I've got no experience of the paj.

or should I just save up for an ARB?

and whats crown wheel and pinion ratio ,save up for one built to fit

Buy it for pennies, measure it, see if it'll fit, then become a trail-blazer and let everyone know ..

I wouldn't try fitting the axle, but I'd certainly think about taking the diff out and seeing if you could transplant the locker out ...

this is looking like a bit of a waste of time, shame really but I havn't got the time to blaze a trail, and nope the compressor wasn't included ( damn, forgot about that).
