No it actually has a galvanised chassis lol but painted it black then it looked dull so it has been painted with
cold galvanising paint

If you're bothered what the colour actually is then I'd suggest doing whatever colour you decide with any old crappy spray paint and carry a spare tin. Use a proprietary 'finish' and they will, often, get scratched (if off-roading and green-laning) and a quick re-spray might help keep them looking none rusty ..
The only reason the top racers use proprietary finishes is 'cos they also sell them, and take their trucks apart between races to keep 'em fettled and looking as good as they go for the sponsors!
