Painting a role cage

i just pick up a second hand roll cage and it needs to be painting its green at the moment so i guess i got to get it back to the metal then prime it then paint it back but what are the best products to use?

Ill be watching this as I have just fit a second hand cage on my 90,

Ill proberbly just nd up using hammered black hammer right.

Get it sandblasted and powdercoated. Will cost you about 20 quid to get it done. There was a bloke on ere doing em. Oh wait:behindsofa:

If you can stomach the price, Eastwood's Extreme Chassis black is hard wearing and looks good.

Or some type of epoxy paint.

shot blast ,zinc primer then paint, or if you go powder coat route make sure it has a pre coating of zinc

shot blast then use primer (i will have to check which then) joltun conseal about 50 quid a tin try this site Home page extensive paint and info for paints.

I just use use hammerite - seems to work fine and easy to touch up.

ok thanks for all the replays, im gunna get it sand blasted to clean it up then prime and hammerite i think
