I currently have 2 90's ones been sprayed with hammerite and it's not to shabby the other has been brush painted but has seen better days.
Having done no painting before the question is what's the best way to go about prepping the brush painted 90? The quickest most cost effective. I'm not looking for cheapest options but sensible.
Also what's the average cost for a respray with it being prepped already? Or would wrapping be an option?
I'm just looking for some help an ideas and anything would be appreciated.
cheers
Tom

Are we talking about chassis? or body? cos who in their right mind would paint a landy body with a brush? chassis, fine. Body? no! get it done professionally, you won't regret it.

if your doing it yourself take a look at a paint called Tekaloid sold by Smith & Allan it is a coach gloss paint made specifically to go on by brush or you could use a sprayer. it takes a while to set but applied properly takes a lifetime to fall off

the link just takes you to the site if you look some more they do most of the land rover colours and then some

I use tekaloid, its really good stuff and it gives an excellent finish even if your prep work isnt that good.

It has ALOT of solvents in it though, so make sure you do it in a well ventilated area.

Electric sander and grit 80 will do the job then take it up to 120 grit and around 240 grit to get what's left smooth for primer. I rolled my old landy and it didn't look to bad!!
