paint code help ..

Hi guys ..

Our paint code is missing from the vin plate under the bonnet , as with most .. Im pretty sure that our defender is in Cobar blue LRC 624 , its a 2008-2009 TD5 , was told it was an 50th anniversary ed , but doesn't have the special plate on the bk , so I doubt it is ...

when I had paint mixed last year for the roof , our local shop couldn't find the code on there system and matched the paint to something they were calling cayman blue code JAV 130f ... unfortunately they are not open in the present virus situation , but I have spoken to another place which will mix my paint and is happy for me to collect from out side collection point ..

Now I was hoping that one of you LandRover guys could confirm to the best you can from a photo or give me your best guess on my paint .... I think its cobar blue .. I have added a few photos that I had at hand , I can post more if needed ..

Well all these photos of a Disco I broke a while back are defo. COBAR Blue LRC.624 (1998 Disco) as is the guy's truck picking up the shell

lol .. he liked his cobar ... looks the same colour to me ... tho my eyes are not the best the best ..

I emailed Land Rover customer services last week to ask what colour mine was to paint match. I just included the reg number. They kindly emailed back in about an hour with the colour for me no problem.

That’s a good idea , tho I do think it’s cobar blue .. worth an email
