Flying back to U.K. next year. Thinking of buying some new parts for my Disco 1. Anyone's thoughts on the quality of parts supplied by Paddocks as they seem quite competitive?

Any feedback would be appreciated

Although they sent me out a new water pump the same day (off a pic that I e-mailed them) it did'nt get put on!!!
Delivery to France is Brill, 2 or 3 days, I now phone them up when I want alt important like wheel bearings/UJ's and ask for the "good gear" & not the cheap ****e.

Have never had any problems untill this week. Bought all new suspension.. Shackels, bolts, gas shocks and grey parabolics. After spotting that people have had problems with there grey parabolics I unraped mine to check them to find copper grease and rust particles in the spring bushes (fitted and returned?) and the paint looked like it had been rubed off on the front and rear curled end mounts which is apparently a common problem with the britpart springs. I have layed an origional leafsprint on its side with a para on top and pushed a bolt through both bush holes to line them up. Bush holes spot on but the curled ends are approx 5/7mm higher (closer to chassis) and 7/10mm longer at each end. I am calling them tommorow and returning them shotly after and then calling Rocky Mountain for a good set of springs. I have been shopping with paddocks for a couple of years now and am not at all impressed. Unless they have a good reason tommorow I shall no longer be a customer of theirs. Most dissapointing but I will update you tommorow.

Oh and by the way... I know the above parts are series 3 but I have a Disco as well so there!

Right then. Phoned pads and explained about the springs and the response was "Oh yes we know about that. Bring them in and we will give you a full refund. Sorry about that" sorted! Might sell Britpart bits but are a good company that dont mess about. Bought some other bits while I was there (NOT BRITPART) and have also got in touch with Rocky mountain and will be picking up some Parabolics and uprated shocks tommorow wooo woooo.

Mr Slob, I take it the "Bol**cks" was aimed at the Sh*t delivery comment. If so I aggree as I have never had a problem with em at all.
