how can it work only ne side cause hlf of the screen is ok and the have is not ok

I have the same problem. The screen heating system is split in two-each side has its own feed and relay.
I would check the relays first-swap them over.
I've checked the live feed to mine-it's ok.
The only thing I have not got around to yet is checking the earth connection, but I think this connection looking at RAVE is common to both sides so my screen is kaput.

I was hoping it was connections with mine, but I doubt it now, as a 2 inch strip on the passenger side works and a strip about an inch wide has suddenly started working again in the centre of the screen so I assume a new screen is needed. Just need a nice big stone chip...
