The left blend motor isn't working.
Diagnostic showing as 'open circuit '
What's the best remedy short of taking most of the dash out?
Splice into it from the right motor? If so what's the best method ?

The blend motor can be accessed without removing the dash. You CANNOT splice into it from the RH lend motor and it would do no good if the blend motor is dead.

The left blend motor can be 'got at' from above after removing the passenger airbag module. a replacement motor can be spliced into the existing left hand motor wiring.

I am not sure I have any photos of mine from a few years ago, but I was fed up with only having hot from both sides, so I removed the left motor and set it to cold.....that way if I wanted hot I would open the right hand vents, and for cold, close the right hand and open the left hand....worked for a while until I finally fixed it properly!

I got at mine by removing the glove box
