Hi,

I bought my first Range Rover on Saturday and it has a few issues that I'm keen to sort.

It's a 4.0 and has the BRC single point lpg system which seems to develop a misfire on anything above light load.
I'm sure I've read that replacement leads and new plugs should help ease this problem but has anyone got any experience in this field?

Also, the SRS warning light is on (airbags haven't deployed).

I'm wondering what year it actually is so I can order parts... the V5 says 1998 but the chassis number is MA****** which I think is an early one, can anyone shed light on this?

Finally, the aircon display is screwy, sometimes it displays clearly, others not. Is this just a case of replacing it?

Thanks for reading... advice will be gratefully received!

cheers.

welcome !,as for srs light get it plugged into diagnostics rovacom or autologic, dont do petrol, sorry.ps ,make your self comfortable, you may be spending some time on here!,lol:D

lpg systems are temperamental, get new plugs and leads also a service on lpg and regular side wont hurt. after that you would need to have it checked/set up to gain the best performance. you can do this yourself if you want but it can be a minefield for the inexperienced!
