p38 window/mirror/central locking not working

Hi all im wondering if any one can help i have a 94 4.6hse range rover and the window/mirror and central locking doe'snt work on the passenger i have purchased and fitted a new locking mechansim ,new outstation and still nothing all other doors are working fine but when i shut the doors the horn chirps and also does this when i lock with key also fob only unlocks doors and doe'snt lock them any help would be much appreciated many thanks :confused::confused::confused:
 
Mine had the same problem in the drivers door and was a broken wire under the carpet coming back to the Becm, I had to cut the covering from that part of the loom to check, sorry but cannot remember the colour, mates went in the exactly same place.

remove the trim with range rover on it (foot plate) run fingers along loom if bad you may find green ooze from insulation, that will be where its corroded, you can also feel all wires for swollen bits this can also be corrosion.
 
thanks for all your replys found the problem 3 wires had breaks in them bypassed the breaks and all working thanks guys.

hi derek i had two breaks in the rubber sleeve one was a small green wire and the other was a small black wire then there was a grey/red wire in the footwell.:)
