I finally found the original Winch Mount and fixing kit I bought for my beloved ex-Rangie P38 in 2004 :):) but never had it fitted........its till wrapped up in the original packaging.

I've listed it on ebay - auction 160558574806 - so everyone has a fair chance to buy it as soooo many people wanted it when I first mentioned it ages ago when it was packed up in storage. I've also found my old Warn 9000 Winch / controller etc which was intended for the winch mounting kit and will list that as soon as I get the pics done.

I've got quite a few bits and pieces for the P38 collected over the 6+ years of ownership that need to go on ebay.....:doh:

Hi Rangiegal..How's things ???

You should get a fair amount of interest for those. Suddenly winches, especially the trays etc. have been the subject of many posts on here......seems they are like hens teeth.
I am sure you will be suprised with the interest and price !!!

Hope so, Irish, here's to good luck for a fiery auction......we're fine...I'm still missing the old Rangie but I know the new owner really appreciated her so all my hard work wasn't in vain!! :) I'm trying to have a clear out and found the Winch Mount which has been packed away for years....and am just getting the Warn 9000 out to get pics too. Amazing how much stuff one accumulates if you keep a car for many years!!! Still got the X5 (the 4.8is - missed the V8 too much to keep a 3.0i six cylinder for long!) and work has given me a brand new Ford Kuga (I know I know!)

I have more stuff in my garage than LR at Solihull which has been accumulated over many years so I know where you are coming from !!
I should imagine the new owner of your P38 is a happy person, it was after all in A1 condition.
Do you find the Kuga claustrophobic after driving something just a bit larger, couldn't you fit the winch to that ???

:5bdriving::bolt:

The Kuga feels like a Ford Focus ST to drive...responsive and racy...not quite the same as the Rangie or the X5, or indeed the Audi S8!!! A bit outside of my usual comfort zone, but I'm kind of used to it now, as for the winch and a Kuga.....well........ :) The Warn plus mount would probably drop the Kugas nose into the ground, its so heavy!!!!!! Kuga doesn't strike me as an offroader, somehow, other than occasional parking on a grassy field!!!
