Good evening,
Recently bought a 1998 range rover p38, was absolutely brilliant for 1st couple weeks, then about 2 weeks ago it wouldn't start, remote central locking stopped so had to manual open door, put key in, would click but not turn over, called cousin as though battery dead so jumped off his car, started fine so gave a good run out as thought bad battery so charge it a bit! Fine for couple days, again at weekend after same issue no life in her and had to jump it, again stated straight off from charge, little run out and all working perfectly! Following morning dead again tried jumping it but nothing! Mechanic friend came out with diagnostics and couldn't find an issue but assuming issue at immobiliser, having looked on forum I have an idea but if anybody out here can shed some light I'd be very grateful, I'm Wiltshire based and missing my range rover!
