P38 stiff steering

Oh bugger, my steering went stiff & unresponsive this week. I just realised
it co-incided with me topping up the reservior. I looked at the handbook &
relaised it requires dexron 3, i used dexron 2, could this have caused the
problem?

I reckon the shaft might be seized as it look to have taken a good crack when the bloke took it off for
the head gasket job. He also put a screwdriver through the heater pipe causing just enough of a hole for
water to leak.

Not the belt slipping is it ? or does it have one of them new fangled belts?

It waqs trye pressures, they were at 22 psi!!! Stupid bloody garage machine!!! Seems fine now.
