hello all,just purchased my 1st rangie,and would welcome any advice on a stereo issue....which is a constant buzzing noise coming from the passenger side front speakers.
p38 stereo interfearance??

would any of you guys know which connector at the rear of head unit is for the passenger side speakers?

im guessing the speaker is torn remove the door card and have a look. kinda hard to know blind
It would help to know what sound system you've got. A steady buzzing is normally an earth problem associated with the amp. But for simple proof you're better off going into the door first. If it's a rasping farting noise that follows the sound from the radio the the speaker's knackered. If it's a rattling noise then the speaker could be loose or something it stuck in it. The simplest thing to do is get into the door and connect another speaker and see what happens.
Make the most of it and check, clean and lubricate the lock and window mechanism whilst you're in there. Perhaps a bit of Waxoyl into the bottom of the door whilst you're there, not only helps with rot but stops any crud down there from rattling.
Just be careful of the bee whilst you do it.

it is a constant high pitched buzz,but i wiil take the card off and have a look.cheers guys

did you fix this? as i have the same problem,and its getting worse,its also become suppresion noise,so im assume its a bad earth,took the door card off today but couldnt see anything amiss,driving me up the wall!!
