To right side of dash display. Should come on as bulb check when ignition is turned on and go out when ECU has done it's self check. Maybe a bulb would sort that out.
My 99 DSE didn't have the Injector Lamp....I had the typical Orange Engine Lamp for the MIL/CEL....Genuine Diesle Instrument Panel too as it had the Glow Lamp which the Petrol version didn't have!

Yep when BMW took over they got lazy and used the same engine motif for both petrol and diesel. Before that should have the injector. Unless the panel has been changed.

Just been out in it... Cold start was acceptable. Only about 2 or 3 cranks then fired. This new battery has certainly helped. I did 3 heats with the glows before cranking tho... Perhaps I should re fit the hot start fix that I removed??

Just on the blackbox solutions website.. I think im gonna order one

Is it the nanocom evolution for EDC P38 that I need?

Will that cover my 2000 model? as in the details it mentions access to auto box up to 99

Pay by Credit Card if you can....I know BBS will put an additional charge on for using a CC, even though they are a British Company run by British People, they are based in Cyprus, so if you pay by CC you will have protection through your card issuer incase of the worst case scenerio and the Cyprus banks go bang!

Now you just need some decent glowplugs and then maybe re-fit the hot start fix. Check the modulation when you get your Nanocom before you refit it and make sure the temperature sensor is reading correctly and fuel temp etc. Also make sure that the hot start fix is the timed version.

I've got a MAP sensor. I got it to replace mine as I thought it was duff. But neither the new one nor the old one make any difference to performance and both work coz Nanocom live data shows the change in boost pressure.

So if you want my new (used once) one, PM me an offer :)
