P38 rr

Hi guys and girls, at the weekend I'm going to see a p38 on a 99 plate, 4.6 V8, as a newcomer can you tell me what I should be looking for before I commit to buying, look forward to hearing your replys.

If its a V8 you NEED to see it/hear it running and take it for a long drive to get it right up to running temp.. preferably mixed town and motor way.Any signs of running hot or over heating walk away...

Also check for last service and any work its had done in the past. This can often give you an idea of how well its been loved.
If its still on air check that the functions all still work and cycle them a few times: Access,Normal,Motorway and Wade height.
