p38 Roof cross bars - rails STC50252

Has anybody bought a set of these, as they seem very good value.

no my point was them look a bit weak dont you think?

I know the rails that run from front to back are far superior, but its about the cost and how much they will be used.

I need something that will be used very infrequently, so wanted folks opinions on those two options.

i've got a set of mont blanc roof bars for my p38 and we did a 600mile round trip with the biggest roof box on it (full)
no problems. very good!
we got it from towequip but you will need the bracket kit,that they can supply, to fit the roof pockets
everything was roughly £50
alot cheaper than the r r roof bars!
