hi all im new on here so bare with me basically ive got a 1999 rangerover county 4.0 petrol it has lpg fitted and also has a spring conversion im really after a 2000 onwards thats standard with electric seats etc in either dark blue or black or will i be better of just getting mine sprayed the colour i want and get the air suspension re fitted etc new interior blah blah or is there anyone interested in doing a deal with me???? also is the wiring already in the car for eletric seats if not already fitted or will i have to wire them all in?

is the engine good? if it is buy the car you want with/without a good engine (theres plenty) and make the car you want from the two!

regerding the seats, you need to check if the becm is a higline or lowline. look in the panel on the drivers seat facia. there will be a stcker above the fuses. if it says H then you can have leccy seats. if L then you can't

they all do!!!

i got told today that the v8 guzzles fuel!!! ****, did they think i was just sat there wondering where that 50 litres of petrol just went!!!!

some people!!!!

Hello , just wondered why did you not buy the rr you wanted in the first place ???
2) If i was you i would stick to springs and shocks , there seems to be lots of different problems with eas ,just having springs makes life a lot less complicated,
3) Ditch the gas , long live petrol ... lol...:eek::welcome2:Rob

Interesting thread on rangerovers.net about this - apparently since they were never designed to use coils, the airbag positions are inboard of where they would be if it was using coils. Replacing the airbags in this position with coils makes the car inherently unstable due to the different characteristics of springs. This from a specialist that had recovered a few overturned ones.

i had a previous 2000 w reg range which unfortunatly i had to sell but got offerd this one in a deal with a van i had and couldnt turn it down and was just tryin to work out which is the cheapes way of getting what i want as this has the lpg already fitted etc just toyin with a few ideas at the min and thought this the place to start
