P38 Radio

I have a 97 4.6 hse rangie that has developed a problem with the LCD reading on the radio set screen.It causes me no real bother only the fact I cant read it properly.Question is, is it worth me replacing it with another unit or will i encounter the famous wrath of the range rover electrical nightmares.Any help would be great,thanks.

I assume it's the Clarion unit. You can get it reconditioned by Clarion (and a couple of other companies).

Must do mine sometime as the bulbs have gone behind the display but it's not the highest priority for me. Clarion will also fit an ipod input while they're at it if you want.

It's hard (but not impossible) to replace with an aftermarket unit as it has seperate power amps in each door.

Guy
