Toying with getting rid of the old P38.
She's served me well but I just don't have the time to tidy her up.
Starts and drives but no mot.
4.0 hse auto. If anyone is interested for spares make me an offer. You'll need a trailer to take her away.
No idea what it's worth but if it sells there'll be a nanocom going for sale either with it or separately.
Doubt I'll have time to do any pics before I go working away again, just wanted to see if anyone here might be interested before I think of sticking it on the bay.

You have fallen for the mk3 then ;)

Think @kermit_rr was looking for a 4.0 nanocom?
dont know thor/gems.
I still love the P38 and if I didn't work away so much I'd put it through a slow process of restoration but working away all week then spending all weekend under a range rover wouldn't please the missus and the boy much!

Apart from having no space, I don't think I could cope with 2 p38 Landys at once

That's the deal. All or nothing!

I'm slightly tempted myself, purely for the engine and LPG. That way if my diesel goes bang I can "go green" on LPG with an appropriate adapter from a 4.0 manual scrapper. Or I guess I could look out for an HP24 gearbox too ...

How bad is it, @Wazzajnr? Is it too good to break up as spares? It cannot be that bad, surely?

The wife has fallen in love with mine (even though she keeps insisting it is a bag of crap) and decided she wants one. What sort of ballpark on price are we talking? And overall condition?

Now we're talking. Someone who is going to do her up and look after her. I'll leave it to you.

If it helps, I sold one a 4.0L few years back for £750 with no issues other than a slight oil leak from the front cover and a small tear in the driver's seat at the edge. Really good low mileage 4.6s seem to go for £2k to £2.5k so I'd say a bit less for a 4.0L.

Although a 4.0 would suit you Grrrrrr, you know it is a 4.6 you want in fact 1st as last, or a jag engine in the good frame you already have.

I still love the P38
Know what you mean. I like Discos, Tratters (just don’t tell the others ;)) all things Landy*
P38 is just my preferred chariot and I fell in love with this one.

*this does not include ‘one life live it’ stickers
Even if you stick them upside down

If new owner doesn’t want the Nanocom as part of the sale..... and Kemit_rr doesn’t have it, I’d be interested in it.
Cheers.
Bren.
