Did anyone watch Fifth Gear over the weekend, in particular the segment about 'affordable' SUV's including the P38, X5 and Cayenne?

The P38 they had on was an 03 plate.. with orange indicators at the front and various other bits that looked to be from older models.

Bit weird, no?

May have been in the Wheeler dealers garage if it was that cocked up. :D:D

That cannot be right. I didn't think you could put a newer plate on a car, only an older one?

It depends on the date the car was registered. It would have been built in 02 and probably went to a dealer but it wasn't registered until 03.

I was into TR7's and there were a few knocking about on plates almost 2 years after production stopped.

They came on here wanting to borrow a P38 for the feature. Offered mine up & got messed around for a couple of weeks before they said they'd found one closer. Probably thought it was too risky expecting me to get from Sheffield to Birmingham without breaking down.
